Nuvo is a baby tracker app. This policy explains what data the app processes and why — in plain language, because there isn't much to tell.
Nuvo works locally: everything you enter — feedings, sleep, diapers, temperature, notes, your child's name and date of birth, and your settings — is stored in a database on your own device. We have no access to it and never see this data.
The home screen widget keeps a small part of it (the buttons, today's counts and a running sleep) on your device too, in a storage area shared only between Nuvo and its widget.
Nuvo has an optional feature to share a child's timeline with one partner on another device. If you turn it on:
If you don't turn this feature on, no data ever leaves your device.
Nuvo is offered as a subscription, processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We never receive credit card or payment details — that is handled entirely by Apple. RevenueCat only receives what it needs to confirm your subscription status (an anonymous user ID generated by Apple, and purchase data), nothing of what you enter in Nuvo. RevenueCat also uses this purchase data for its own aggregated subscription statistics (for example, how many people turn a free trial into a paid subscription) — this is never about the content of your data, only about purchase behavior.
Nuvo asks for camera access only to scan your partner's sharing QR code when linking a child. No photos are taken, stored or sent.
In Settings you can export your data (CSV/JSON) at any time, or delete a day, a child, or all app data. If you delete the app, all local data on that device is deleted as well.
